Trails

There are several excellent themed trails for visitors to enjoy which take you across the City Centre seeing various sights and attractions that you may not have otherwise known existed.

  1. Swansea Castle Family Trail - details of which can also be accessed at the wifi information point located within the Castle grounds.
  2. City Witness is an innovative research based project whereby a trail of the City Centre has been created by linking numbered pavement markers that tell the story of the medieval hanging of William Cragg following which he miraculously resurrected.
  3. There are several location based Dylan Thomas trails that are available across Swansea and west Wales in celebration of the life and times of the well known Swansea poet. One of these relates specifically to the City Centre, details of which will soon be digitised for on-line use, however, in the mean time hard copies are available at the Tourist Information Centre on Plymouth Street which is just around the corner from Wilkinson.
  4. A City Centre Walking Trail has been devised to take in the key attractions and places to visit in the City Centre on foot. The leaflet, which is also available from the Tourist Information Centre is in the process of being updated at which point information will also be made available online.
