
Bowling
There’s nothing like a fun game of ten pin bowling with family or friends, and Swansea has not one but two bowling alleys! Tenpin Swansea based in Parc Tawe, is a modern 26 lane bowling alley, with a bar, entertainment, gaming arcade and snack area whilst Superbowl Swansea on York Street boasts bowling and Ninja Tag as well as Crazy Club soft play for younger children.
Cinema
Whether you’re after big blockbusters or emerging festival favourites, Swansea’s three cinemas have a varied choice of films and times to suit everyone. The Odeon multiplex in Parc Tawe has a range of screens as well as specialist film clubs to become a part of. Vue Cinema on York Street boasts a 13 cinema screens of varying capacities, all with the option to upgrade to plush VIP seating. Whilst Cinema & Co on Castle Street is a cosy independent cinema complete with a bar that screens nostalgic movie favourites as well as new indie flicks and also hosts live music events.

Theatre
The largest and most well-known Swansea Theatre, The Grand Theatre, is situated in the heart of the city centre on Singleton Street. Throughout the year it plays host to major touring companies performing a variety of musicals, plays, comedians, ballets and opera as well as the festive favourite pantomime. This theatre also includes an interesting arts wing opened by Catherine Zeta Jones.
The Dylan Thomas Theatre, also in the city centre, provides the opportunity to see, hear and experience local and international talent including Clywd Theatr Cymru, Swansea University Players as well as the famous Little Theatre Company.

Other attractions
Laserzone – A high tech, live action laser gaming stage situated next to Swansea Castle. The multi-level sci-fi themed arena is an interactive centre with special effects, fog and laser beams is ideal for anyone over the age of 7 who enjoys an entertaining adventure!

Plantasia – Swansea’s indoor tropical rainforest makes the perfect unique family day out, whatever the weather! See exotic live insects, reptiles, fish and meerkats as well as tropical florae including banana plants, sugar cane, prickly cacti and giant bamboo as you travel through two climate zones – Plantasia has it all!
There is also the West Glamorgan Archive Service and Swansea Central Library.
