Bus Station

Swansea's City Centre bus station is set to undergo a multi-million pound redevelopment.

The existing bus station located next to the Quadrant shopping Centre will be transformed into a modern bus station with state-of-the-art facilities.

The new bus station will have:

• 20 bus bays
• Three coach stands
• Modern passenger facilities and waiting areas
• Easy access to the shops
• Ticket sales and information
• Shopmobility facilities

The existing bus station was closed in June 2009 to enable the redevelopment work to start.

The project is expected to last 15 months and will bring significant changes to bus services during that time.

During the work the bus station will be completely closed to traffic and passengers.

In its place, a series of temporary bus stops will be located across the city centre.
